Taming the Velvia 50

All of us have old wives' tales about slide film and E6 shooting/processing horrors. I have heard cases where people try to cross process E6 with C41 and end up with botched colors. This is especially true with Fuji Velvia 50 - a tricky slide film, but nothing that cannot be tamed.

There seems to be a mystique surrounding Velvia 50 that I wanted to experience and what better than to shoot 3 rolls of expired Velvia 50 on a Hasselblad to get to the bottom of this mystery.

Here are a few examples and I will add as I scan more. I did the basics, metered for the highlights, did not overexpose, and just let the film do the talking.
