Use the Gmail dot blindness to create multiple email aliases

Did you know that Gmail cannot recognize dots or periods in email addresses or the user names - that means an address like paris.hilton@gmail.com is the same as paris.hi.lton@gmail.com or paris...hilton@gmail.com. All messages to these "different" ids are sent to the same inbox.

Next time you need to have a unique email id (let's say you are creating a new twitter handle) but want the mails in the same inbox, just play with the dots and you are golden.
